As one of the world’s largest chocolate manufacturers, we are a major player in international business, with revenue of around USD 33 billion. Within our Treasury organization, the Global In-House Bank (GIHB) plays a central role with key responsibilities to execute vendor payments, settle inter-company cash flows and concentrate excess cash. As the new supervisor of our GIHB, you will coordinate all day-to-day operational activities, including the execution of the daily payment run, issue management and daily reconciliation of key general ledgers. You will supervise the three GIHB Administrators in the team and collaborate closely with your treasury colleagues to ensure flawless GIHB Operations. You will ensure a correct and controlled process of period close accounting, connect with and support Business Units in their treasury activities and lead efficiency improvement projects. You combine excellent professional skills with world-class customer service.
As an ambitious treasury or finance professional, you know how to handle our corporate finance work flows. You have proven that you possess both detailed knowledge of Treasury/Finance operations and a helicopter view of all treasury activities and how they relate to other business areas and processes. In your drive for continuous improvement, you’ll play an active role in expanding the Payment Factory to new countries, segments and acquired companies, and will simplify and improve the IT infrastructure required for the GIHB Operations. You have a Master’s degree and at least five years of working experience, or gained the required level through adequate experience. You have proven knowledge of technical systems and processes, accounting and especially strong analytical skills. The international environment requires good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. This is a fulltime position.
